Crypto helped me understand how to see things for what they really are

The year was 2018 my company was struggling to get of the ground as money would come in from old invoices and end up paying for new bills. I knew about crypto before this but never really took it seriously. This year was probably the craziest year to get involved in crypto as the BTC price on January was around $16,000 which later fell to roughly $6,000 by August 2018.

Not only did I lose money that year but it made me understand a very important lesson, just because I had done the research, it doesn’t mean everybody else had. For me that was the most important lesson I had been taught my whole life. I could see the opportunity in crypto and where it would be going, de-centralisation goes hand in had with privacy we are in the digital age whereby if you want to buy something Google/Apple/Microsoft etc all have your purchasing data. They had your card details, your location, your personal data.

2019 came a long & we all know how that went, people struggling to pay the bills to keep the heating running. Except I’ve you got involved in crypto the year before & just had belief you’d pretty much have a lot of spare change or be a millionaire. The best thing for cryptocurrencies is time the longer we have them, the more people learn and then everyone will understand how valuable they really are. I won’t mention the word but in 2019 we realised how much we rely on others, shop keepers to keep the shops open & delivery drivers to get all of our goods delivered. The one thing that stayed constant throughout was billionaires making more money than ever. The one way I see crypto helping is that we have a limited supply on each coin, it’s not like paper money which we can keep printing until we have no trees left. Crypto allows anyone to see where money has moved to in real time & it’s all recorded in a ledger that again anyone can see at anytime. Cash & Banks aren’t trust-less what I mean by this is when you use paper money to buy an item the shop owner who your buying from can refuse to serve you because they say the money isn’t real. This will never happen in crypto because every transaction is checked a number of times before it’s confirmed.

I just want more people to wake up & think I’m not scared of Crypto I understand it enough to put some money in & see where it goes. Honestly I’ve made some bad calls when it comes to buying & selling coins. The one lesson that will always stick with me is I know how valuable crypto really is, so the current price of BTC on the day of writing is $64,680 to me that is still a bargain , next year we will see $100,000 – $150–000 BTC price then who knows what happens when alt season comes.

DYOR(Do Your Own Research) but if you’ve done your checks & everything ticks all the boxes then don’t wait till tomorrow to buy the coin just put your money in & wait for that next ALL TIME HIGH!!!

My biggest holds (This is not financial advice) HBAR, SOL, BTC, ETH, ADA
